Tuesday 14 – Valentine’s Day
Friday 17 – Venison Dinner. Our annual venison dinner is free to members and $10.00 for non-members. Reservations are a must and be made no later than 1 week ahead. Snow date is Wednesday 22nd.
Sunday 26– Annual active membership meeting & directors election. From 2 to 5 PM there will be voting for new directors and an active member meeting will follow at 5PM sharp. The meeting will be a review for all CVV active members of the activities that occurred in the club during the past year. Yes, we mean you “Active Members” demonstrate your interest in your Club, come out and help fill up the Gustav Plandenhorn Hall. Members must be present to vote. Refreshment’s will be served after the meeting. At the same time bring your spouse and entire family for dinner in the Club. Lunch from 11 AM to 3 PM and dinner will be served 1 to 7 PM.

Sunday 4 – United Singers – Vereinigte Saenger – Members of different choruses will be performing. There will be dancing after the concert. All are invited. Starts at 4PM. Admission $8
Wednesday 7 – 132nd Ladies Anniversary / Luncheon / Bingo & Card Party. The Cannstatter Ladies invite you to their 132nd Anniversary luncheon, followed by bingo and card games. Starts at 12 noon. Admission is $15.00 per person. For reservations please call Elke Siegle at 215-722-6188.
Saturday 10 – 139th Cannstatter Anniversary Banquet 2012. The Cannstatter celebrates its 139th year in Philadelphia. Come out and have a wonderful evening with us. Cocktails (a la Carte) followed by a four-course dinner served at 7PM sharp. Dance the evening away to the sound of the Heimatklaenge. Admission is $55. Tickets on sale now. Saturday 17 – St. Patrick’s Day. The one day everyone wants to be Irish! Come and celebrate St. Pats with us. There will be entertainment and Irish food including ham and cabbage, boiled potatoes and Irish beer.Entertainment featuring Clancy's Pistol a local Celtic Band,The Philadelpia Pipe and Drum Band, Irish Dancers and a DJ. Tickets ($15.00) are available at purchase at the Club starting Feb.6.
Friday 31 – Grosser Bunder Abend (German Spring Show) with music stars & entertainers from Germany. The evening starts at 8PM. Tickets are on sale now. Admission is $18 for members and $20 for non-members.

Sunday 1 – Kolping Easter Egg Hunt in the Cannstatter Park. Bring your children for some Easter Egg hunting fun. Egg Hunt starts at noon.

Anniversary entertaining their Bingo players in the Gustav Plankenhorn Hall. Every
Thursday you can eat at the Cannstatter between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM or at
the snack bar in the bingo hall. The hall opens at 3:00 PM and the games start at

Friday/Freitag 23 STEUBEN PARADE BANQUET - This year’s Steuben Parade Banquet will be held
at the United German Hungarian Club in Oakford, PA for tickets and information

Saturday/Samstag 24 STEUBEN DAY PARADE - The 41st Annual Parade will return to northeast
Philadelphia at Frankford Ave. and Welsh Road. It will proceed south on Frankford
Ave. There will be a mass before the parade at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.

Saturday/Samstag 5 G.T.V. ALMRAUSCH OKTOBERFEST - Doors open at 6:00 PM. “The Alpenlaenders

Saturday 31 – New Years Eve Party – Come out with your friends and celebrate the end of 2011 with us in the wonderful Crystal Ballroom and welcome in 2012. Start the evening with a wonderful buffet; there will also be a five-hour open bar. Be entertained through the evening by live music. The band will be “Charlie Gracie and his band.” Our comedian & entertainer for the evening will be Glen Anthony. There will be champagne toast at midnight. Coffee and Hefenzopf (braided white bread with raisins and sliced almonds on top) will be provided after midnight. There will be plenty of hats and noisemakers. The evening starts at 8:00 PM. Tickets are on sale now. Members $65 and non-members $75.
